Chloe Grace Moretz is…
Cassiopeia “Cassie” Sullivan
Most people know Moretz as “Hit-Girl” from the Kick Ass franchise, Carrie in the Stephen King film adaptation of the same name, and Mia from the upcoming film If I Stay ,
When I heard that Moretz was going to play Cassie, I was thrilled. This is because while I was reading the book, I thought, “Chloe Grace Moretz would make the perfect Cassie if The 5th Wave was adapted into a movie.”
I feel very confident that Moretz will make an excellent Cassie even though I have only seen 2 of her films. (Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2)

Nick Robinson is…
Ben Parish
Most people (along with myself) know Robinson from the ABC Family Original Series Melissa & Joey in which he plays Ryder.
Since I am a fan of Melissa & Joey, I know that Robinson can pull off comedic acting. However, I don’t know how well he can portray a character that is very intense and serious.
I doubt that that the casting agents of the movie would choose somebody who couldn’t accurately portray Ben Parish, so I am very positive that Robinson will be able to bring the character to life on the big screen.

Alex Roe is…
Evan Walker
I don’t really know anything about this actor. I think he might be British.
The only thing I can say about Roe portraying Evan Walker is that he looks similar to the character I pictured while reading the book. Give him a plaid shirt and he would look like the Brawny Paper Towel Guy. (Get it?)
Even though I am unfamiliar with this actor, I am sure that he will do great.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I am pleased with the actors that were chosen to play Cassie, Ben, and Evan. I will definitely be watching The 5th Wave when it hits theaters 1/29/16!
